ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR represented a forum for the direct exchange of ideas and contacts between collectors, artists, photographers, designers and art professionals, and provided a unique opportunity for artists and exhibitors to present their works to an international audience of art professionals seeking to acquire, publish and encourage the best talents in contemporary art. The exhibition analyzed the body-space relationship and the hybridization between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban contexts in contemporary times, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE LANDSCAPES.

MIXING IDENTITIES analyzed the hidden parts of our identities and their infinite modes of expression, through an immersive experience in the fascinating universe of the labyrinths of our consciousness. While FUTURE LANDSCAPES focused primarily on the concept of boundaries and structures between body, mind and soul, human identity and the city, space and ground, transforming surfaces into an open flow of pure ideas.

The exhibition presented a rich tapestry of artistic expressions, inviting visitors to explore diverse perspectives and contemplate the themes, truly showcasing the power of art to inspire, provoke thought, and evoke emotions. Among the artists, Silvia Macková showcased her experimental approach, characterized by the exploration of different media, exhibiting her diverse range of paintings characterized by various styles, techniques, and colours. The artworks of Robert Falcone incorporated various mediums too, including painting, photography, sculpture, and music. Inspired by the beautiful decadence of the facades on the island of Burano, his series “Le Finestre di Burano” showcased manipulated photographs printed on canvas and embellished with oil and gold leaf.

Along the same line and inspired by vintage cranes and industrial buildings, Mason Robert‘s abstract painting, “Dogpatch Waterfront View,” captured the historical and natural beauty of the Union Iron Works waterfront property in San Francisco, juxtaposing historical and industrial elements with the surrounding natural landscape. John Romi‘s artworks played a critical role in improving emotions, opinions, and hope for the future. Romi’s art offered a temporary escape and provided a balance between outer conflicts and inner stability.

The 7th Edition of ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR encouraged visitors to contemplate the complexities of identity, the ever-changing nature of our surroundings, and the limitless possibilities of artistic interpretation, also thanks to artists like Masha Zel, whose artistic creations served as personal reflections of the world around her. Zel embodied the idea of finding order out of chaos: her art offered a magical space where emotions and expressions intertwine to dissolve boundaries.

Another invitation to dive into artists’ emotions was offered by Georgiana Postolache LaPosto: her artworks took viewers on a captivating journey through a wide range of colors and emotions, ranging from vibrant to pastel tones. Her expressive language conveyed personal memories and emotions, creating a unique visual experience. Dilara Gevher‘s acrylic painting, titled “Philophobia,” delved into the irrational fear of falling in love: drawing inspiration from the universal principle of Yin and Yang, her artwork explored the concept of interdependence and the opposing nature of various elements.

Tatiana Zonca‘s artwork beautifully reflected the atmosphere of sunset hours: her artwork vividly captured the merging of light and the soothing sound of the sea, depicting a crowded beach in Bali, capturing the essence of that memorable moment. Overall, the exhibition showcased the immense talent and creativity of the participating artists while inviting visitors to explore diverse perspectives, challenge preconceptions, and embrace the transformative nature of art. Sırma Aksüyek through her evocative photography, captured universal gestures that transcended individual lives and bodies. Sirma’s exploration of emotional power through poses and lighting created a profoundly thought-provoking experience for viewers.
