Millo has completed The Most Precious Treasure (El tesoro más valioso) in Alcantarilla, Murcia. In the mural, his characters open a chest and find clear water instead of gold or jewels. The work stands alongside murals by JDL and Rocket01, facing the site of the town’s planned railway station.

The chest gives Millo’s concern about water a simple narrative form: something precious has been found, but it must also be protected. Describing the work, he writes that “water isn’t just a resource — it’s life, memory, and our most fragile wealth.” He connects the image to longer droughts and the choices made now about safeguarding water for the future.
The three murals were not painted at the same time. Millo and JDL made their works during Alcantarilla’s Octubre Joven 2026 programme, organised by the town council with Murcia Street Art Project. Rocket01’s mural was painted in 2025. Together, the works form the triptych Millo describes as a future visual gateway for people arriving by train.
Millo, the working name of Italian artist Francesco Camillo Giorgino, often places large human figures within drawn urban settings. His own account of the Alcantarilla mural keeps the action close to the characters and the open chest. What they find there gives the work its title—and ties it to the place where it was painted.

The murals are on Camino de la Piedra, within Alcantarilla’s outdoor art route. For now, they face the site where the new station is planned; the paintings can be seen before that proposed point of arrival takes shape.
