My photography is based on the artistic ethos that the natural world inspires all art, music, dance, architecture virtually everything we create as humans. The imagery I share through my photography and music/music video websites are deeply intertwined. They can be enjoyed together or separately.

This Antarctic series is based on two trips to the astonishing continent that is so vital to our survival on this planet by keeping it cool. These photographs show the art of nature in ice water and the animals who reside there, especially those amazing penguins colonies I visited.

Some of these photographs were turned into spectacular paintings by artist Richard Estes. They were sold to collectors, including the Crystal Bridges Museum and Alice Walmart’s personal collection. Other images I took within my photo website were also painted by Mr. Estes to great acclaim and have been collected by discerning buyers around the globe.

I was Vice President of the Acadia Foundation, which Mr. Estes and I co-created. We sponsored many fantastic artists over a fifteen-year period. I’m honored to be featured in this article and truly appreciate the recognition I am receiving in support of the Antarctica series.

I’m a 2006 Summa graduate of Hunter College in New York City. I also attended Colorado University in Boulder, where I studied film, art, music and home design as well as decorating, architecture, astronomy, world literature, piano performance and composition.

My live performances and composition twice earned me Grammy ballot nominations. In the 2022 and 2023 award years, I was nominated for best instrumental album of the year.

My photography was blended with my live performance of “I Know a Place” which helped start the Candlelight concert series. I hope you enjoy this collection of my work as a contribution to the arts. Prints are made from high resolution tiff files via my professional printing service.
