The Other Art Fair is returning this October to the Old Truman Brewery.
The Other Art Fair continues its mission to reframe art, and how it is experienced; offering an inclusive and exciting alternative on how to view art. Showcasing 150 artists, selected for game-changing works and visions, in the heart of Shoreditch. The diverse programme includes everything from our Guest Artist, immersive installations and art beyond the wall – here is a selection of our top five unmissable features.
1. Spooky installation by Guest Artist Sara Shakeel
For the first time ever, Pakistani-raised instagram sensation Sara Shakel, will create an onsite immersive installation, entirely adorned by a custom crystal spider web alongside exhibiting her beloved Swarovski crystal works. Get the opportunity to meet Sara and take your own crystal piece, print or poster home this October
2. Slaves guitarist Laurie Vincent
Half of punk duo Slaves guitarist and song-writer, Laurie Vincent will be joining us once again in our line up of features, exhibiting his iconic monochromatic cheetahs. Alongside having signed major record deals with his band slaves, Laurie has two clothing lines and a passion in photography and creates paintings that are bold and expressive. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs where you might not expect them…
3. New Futures October Class 2022
Step into New Futures winner Marta Morientes booth this October and be transported to a Spanish oasis where you will be able to join Marta’s humorous works… Louise Nordh has also joined our New Future’s programme whose new series of candy-coloured dream scenes will satisfy any sweet tooth.
4. Half a Roast Chicken – Eve de Haan
Eve de Haan aka Half a Roast Chicken is taking over our entrance way with an explosion of immersive creativity and she will be bringing along her iconic neons. Eve will also be taking our fully stocked self-help bar where you can enjoy a drink with your Hash Hut meal.
5. The Other Store
The Other Art Fair is partnering up with @everpress to launch our first merch store ever, The Other Store. Where we have collaborated with three-game changing artists Barbara Kuebel, Laurie Vincent, Archie Proudfoot to bring you art beyond the wall.
The Other Art Fair has created something different, combining affordable art with unforgettable experiences, with editions now in London, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, Sydney, and Melbourne. Hailed as ‘the future of art’ by The Guardian, The Other Art Fair will delight and inspire visitors with its diverse and immersive programme that has previously included interactive theatre, taxidermy classes, immersive dining, charity collaborations, guest artist installations, workshops, and a colourful line-up of renowned Guest Artists.
