Zdzisław Beksiński in 10 Paintings

Zdzisław Beksiński’s artistic journey met a tragic end on February 21, 2005, when he was murdered in his apartment. Despite this devastating conclusion, his legacy endures through captivating and thought-provoking artworks that span traditional and digital realms. His works serve as a testament to the enduring impact of a self-taught artist who fearlessly ventured into the surreal and mysterious corners of the human psyche.

In 2015, BOSZ published a collection of the artist’s short stories, Opowiadania, written during the period 1963-1965. This publication bears witness to Beksiński’s multifaceted genius. The stories feature surreal imagery, nightmarish tales, and dystopian and apocalyptic themes as he wrote about his visions before bringing them to life.
