Art is food for my soul and the process of creation is like meditation. It keeps me in the present moment in the perfect flow.

“Octopus” acrylic on canvas, 12″ x 24″

I love to admire my fellow artists’ creations and I always get so inspired to make more art myself. It amazes me how many brilliant creatives are out there. How art makes the world so much more beautiful and brings people together.

“Catcher” acrylic on canvas, 12″ x 24″

Through my art I want to add to that beauty, make people smile and send the message of interconnectedness and interdependence.

The media I most work with is acrylic paint and mixed media. I also occasionally like to play with textiles.

“The Beginning” acrylic on canvas, 24″ x 48″

Drawing is the base for all my works. I sketch out the idea, enlarge the design to its original size, then make a fine line drawing of the final layout and color it in like a coloring book.

“Reflections” (diptych) acrylic on canvas, 36″ x 36″

I don’t layer my paint. Most of the times I use just one layer, sometimes two if needed for the colors to look flatter. I rarely use colors straight from the tube. Mixing them gives me that exact hue, shade, tone or tint I like.

“Stem” acrylic on canvas, 18″ x 36″

The style I work with is decorative with flat shapes, lines, dots and small details that I add for texture.

“Youth” acrylic on canvas, 48″ x 24″

Inspiration for my work comes from other artists, nature, people, children’s books, folk/tribal arts and pretty much everything that surrounds me. Most of the times I get visions of my actual paintings, or they come to me in dreams.

I don’t make copies or prints of my paintings, but keep them unique, original and one of a kind. I hope you enjoy my world as much as I do when I create them.
