portrait of a young woman

“Italian Model” oil, 20″ x 24″

My passion for art began over 30 years ago as a college student in New Jersey. I discovered my talents through drawing and painting classes and continued after college.

“Chimayo, Open Arms” oil, 20″ x 24″

I have always enjoyed the use of a limited palette to create a harmony of colors. My impressionist techniques have allowed me to creatively express my vision of a new and exciting world through my eyes.

plein air painting of Fort Marcy

“Ft. Marcy Vista” oil, 16″ x 20″

Some of my favorite inspirations come from artists such as Monet, Renoir, and Robert Henri. It empowered me to look at life through a painter’s eyes and appreciate the intimate moments I document in my art, home, and travels. It also taught me that art is a noble profession worth pursuing. My style complements and honors the older history while pushing the boundaries of a new world that needs more color and inspiration.

plein air painting of a southwest mission

“The Mission” oil, 17″ x 24″

In early 2024, I studied portraiture at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. I have learned how to combine my love for realism and impressionism with my paintings. It was my lifelong dream to study in an incredible atelier learning timeless masters’ techniques. I enjoyed the strong teachings of John Angel and other artists to help me get to that next level I’ve been craving for.

painting of a gate and wall with flowers

“New Hope” oil, 16″ x 20″

Travel became my other inspiration. Art has accompanied my ambitions throughout the years to amazing places such as Taiwan, Italy, and New Mexico, which I call home. I love being part of a place rich in history and color. It has also inspired my art and soul. I work full-time as an art vendor in the Santa Fe Plaza, creating and selling my art and doing portrait commissions.

Pet portrait of a fluffy dog

“Loki” oil, 12″ x 16″

My future ambitions include possible gallery representation and creating new and exciting portrait commissions. I want to use all the cultural influences and ancient painting techniques I’ve learned so far in my colorful life. I would also love to learn how to sell my work online around the world.

“Santa Fe Lights” oil, 16″ x 20″

The internet has exciting possibilities to connect more visitors and clients with my work and enhance the emotional connection between art and collectors. Most of all, I look forward to growing older and better as an artist and person. I hope to inspire others who enjoy my work.
