I have never experienced art as a choice; it has always felt like a necessity. Long before I understood the language of galleries or collectors, I understood the silence of a blank surface waiting to be transformed.

I paint because it is the most honest way I know to translate what moves inside me into something tangible. My work is not about reproducing what I see. It is about revealing what I feel beneath what is visible.

“Kosmische Verbindingen” mixed media, 80 cm x 80 cm

Growing up, I was deeply aware of atmosphere: the weight of light before a storm, the stillness of trees at dusk, the subtle tension in human presence. These impressions stayed with me and became the emotional vocabulary of my practice. Nature, memory, and the inner landscape are constant companions in my work. I am less interested in depicting a forest, a horizon, or a figure than in capturing the vibration they leave behind in the soul.

My process is intuitive but disciplined. I often begin without a fixed plan, allowing the first gestures to guide the direction of the piece. Layers are essential. I build, erase, and rebuild, sometimes covering entire passages to let fragments re-emerge unexpectedly.

Texture plays a central role; I want the surface to breathe, to carry traces of time and decision. I work with acrylics and mixed media, embracing contrasts between control and spontaneity. There is always a dialogue between structure and freedom in my paintings.

Color is never decorative for me. It is emotional architecture. Deep blues may hold introspection, earthy tones ground the work in memory, and sudden bursts of light create tension or hope. I aim for balance, but not perfection, I want the viewer to feel movement, as if the work is still unfolding in front of them.

As Delbosque, I see my artistic journey as an ongoing exploration rather than a fixed identity. My goal is not simply to exhibit internationally, although that path inspires me. What truly drives me is connection: when someone stands before my work and feels seen, paused, or stirred without fully knowing why. If my paintings can create a moment of silence in a noisy world, then I have achieved something meaningful.

Art, for me, is an act of unity, between inner and outer worlds, between chaos and calm, between the artist and the viewer. And every new canvas is another step into that conversation.
