Artsy Shark needs 48 talented artists to feature and promote in the coming months. Submissions are currently being accepted from artists around the world.

Interested in having your art presented in a gorgeous online portfolio article? Artsy Shark showcases the talents of artists from all over the world in our featured artist series. We’ve presented the portfolios of more than 2,000 individual artists since 2010. A Call for Artists happens only three times each year. This is your chance to apply! The deadline for this call is October 12, 2023.
Artists and makers in all mediums are encouraged to apply, including: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, clay, fiber, digital art, collage, glass, wood, printmaking, metal and others. Art created using artificial intelligence (AI) will not be accepted.
Every featured artist shares a collection of their work and tells their story in their own words. Features may describe inspiration, technique or the meaning behind the art. Artsy Shark specializes in publishing features that offer compelling visual displays that draw attention and interest in the artist. A link to the artist’s own website drives online traffic directly to them. This increases the opportunity to make sales, capture email addresses of interested visitors, and gain social media followers.
We promote every artist feature to our large social media following and through email to our extensive list. Every artist feature is permanently viewable on our site, and can be seen by visiting our Featured Artist Gallery.
Artists who submit an application are entering a competitive jury process, and there is an application fee of $25. Not all artists will be selected. The selection process includes a thorough review of each applicant’s website and online presence. All applicants are notified of the results of their submission within three weeks of the deadline.
In addition to publication and promotion, every featured artist receives a customized “magazine style” version of their feature in PDF format to use as marketing collateral. See a sample PDF here
Artsy Shark receives no fees or commissions whatsoever for any sales or contracts that result from being featured.
