Astro and Hektor have completed Les lumières, a new collaborative mural in Quéven, Brittany, for the third edition of Just Paint Quéven.
The French title, meaning “The Lights,” gives the work its point of entry while leaving room for the wall itself to meet its public in the town. Astro and Hektor made the piece as part of Just Paint’s summer programme, and thanked the festival team, the City of Quéven and the other participating artists.
Held from 19 to 23 August 2026, Just Paint Quéven brought artists into the town centre to paint six gable walls. The project continues the festival’s work across Brittany, where murals become part of an open-air route through the places that host them.
Les lumières adds a joint work by two artists to that evolving collection in Quéven, with the collaboration foregrounded in both the mural’s credit and its making.
