“Air Show” photography, various sizes

I feel it’s a privilege to be able to walk this earth and experience what it has to offer, both natural and artificial. So why wouldn’t I want to capture it’s many wonders?

“Sunset” photography, various Sizes

As an observer of my surroundings, my camera allows me to record what I see as I pass through my worlds. The dramatic colours and atmosphere that the weather offers can render a familiar place in so many different ways.

“Road House” photography, various sizes

Mother nature serves up a plethora of spectacular subjects from the widest vista to the smallest of her beloved creatures, and everything in between.

“Champagne Lady” photography, various sizes

Humans have shaped the world around me in so many ways. Some ways are an enhancement to our lives. Others not so much, but none can be ignored by the curious mind or the well aimed camera. From the mightiest to the most minute details within my surroundings, endless opportunities to capture moments in time abound!

“Water Lily” photography, various sizes

Beauty can be found everywhere, just as readily as the unpleasant can be. But all things are worthy of consideration, and my camera helps me express my point of view.

“Bridge Detail” photography, various sizes

Whether it be a fast action event, a tranquil landscape, textured details, any of things that make us human or abstract patterns, I’ll point my camera at it and offer my perspective.

“Sydney Harbour” photography, various sizes

I try to capture what I see in camera and use minimal editing. This is done predominantly in Lightroom, to enhance colours, convert to black and white, or crop for effect. Some of my work is captured using artificial lighting depending on the desired outcome.

“Biker Lifestyle” photography, various sizes

A move to a small town has given me the opportunity to set up a studio and gallery space to photograph clients, create some art as well as show and sell my work. My new home is an old disused gas station and I’ve set up the old lube bay as a gallery. It’s called (quite imaginatively!) The Lube Bay Gallery.
