Art We Love

Ever wondered what other people are buying for their personal art collections?

Though your tastes may differ, seeing what others are purchasing can help you discover new artists whose works you might not otherwise have considered. Below, meet 5 artists who have proven to be popular favorites with our collectors. For more ideas, contact our curators to help you find similar works in your budget.

Dorota Jedrusik

Dorota Jedrusik exhibits masterful control of texture and color, creating oil on linen paintings that appear to be made of solid stone. Jaggedly stacked and haphazardly aligned, rocky surfaces weave themselves into abstract shapes marbled with a solid, satisfying density. Dorota received her Masters from the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Wroclaw, Poland. She has exhibited her work for more than a decade in Poland, and she has also been featured by Saatchi Art’s curators. Discover more of Dorota’s work here.

Andrea De Ranieri

Multidisciplinary Italian artist Andrea De Ranieri creates paintings that refract and reshape patterns amidst abstracted, industrial fields of color, juxtaposing order and chaos. His sculptures stretch upwards, contorted into unusual shapes. These artworks dominate space with permanence and weight, though their refusal to conform to any visual language complicates their relationship with the space they inhabit. Andrea studied in the School of Architecture at the University of Florence. He has exhibited his work in Italy and Germany, and he has been featured in the Saatchi Art Catalog. Ana Dévora

Worlds collide in Ana Dévora’s artwork, as earthy colors and textures are combined to create technological marvels. Pattern plays a core role in Ana’s work, as circuits trace forms both foreign and familiar. Ana studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and her work has been shown extensively throughout Europe and the Americas. She has been featured by Saatchi Art Curators, including in Saatchi Art’s One to Watch blog. Discover more of Ana’s work here.

Ruth Mulvie

Vibrantly retro technicolor palettes meet poolside scenes cluttered with characters and iconic symbols synonymous with summertime leisure in the work of British artist Ruth Mulvie. Each composition seems isolated in its own monochrome world, surreally flanked by a multitude of celestial bodies and aircraft. Ruth’s works are cheery, nostalgic, and otherworldly. She received her degrees from the Glasgow School of Art as well as the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Ruth has participated in exhibitions throughout the UK and abroad, including The Other Art Fair. Her work has also been featured in the Saatchi Art Catalog. Discover more of Ruth’s work here

Fuen Chin

Malaysian artist Fuen Chin creates artwork that is utterly elemental, coalescing the power of earth and wind in abstract paintings, grasping for the very heart of creation. Floral and circular patterns complement these forms, demonstrating the tenacity of life. Fuen received her degree from the Royal College of Art in London, and she’s exhibited her work in Malaysia, London, and beyond. Fuen has been featured on a number of occasions by Saatchi Art curators, including in the Saatchi Art Catalog. Discover more of Fuen’s work here.
