A selection of images by New York City-based photographer and artist Laila Annmarie Stevens. She is currently pursuing her BFA at The Fashion Institute of Technology. Stevens’ portraiture is informed by her early work in youth organizations. Envisioning a world of inclusion and power, Stevens is passionate about honouring marginalized youth voices and embracing the fullness of Black life through the creation of a digital safe space.
