I am a versatile artist based out of Bhopal, India. With the blessings of my guruji, I am able to capture any subject through my oil paintings on canvas, which I call Chitrakala.
Water 79h7e3 is an abstraction of waves in the Hudson River. I have increased contrast to extreme, leaving only bright areas of wave crests, tinted in green and cream, and black in the wave troughs.
I have never been to Africa, but I was inspired to paint it with an expressionist acrylic style. This series, Out of Africa, includes “His Majesty,” and the rest of the big five.
My work demonstrates the inner strength of individuals and how that strength affects relationships. I work in a figurative, abstract style, emotionally charged with bold colour and texture, the paintings act as catalysts to communication.
As a self taught artist, I use the mediums of graphite, colored pencils, oils and acrylics to reveal the stories behind the faces and figures I am inspired to draw and paint.
Like the old masters I admire, I believe oil paintings should evoke a feeling of beauty, elegance and the colorful pleasures of life. My modern sensibility reveals this via color, light and subject matter.
I am a contemporary artist inspired by the places I’ve traveled and the vitality each destination provides. I work in different techniques with various materials. I produce one-off creations, capturing energies and vibrations.
My love of nature inspires me to create wildlife portraits and nature scenes using layers of crushed glass powder. I strive to capture the essence of my subjects and share my passion with others.
My art mission is to bring warmth and tranquility to those that view it. I love playing with shadows and light and bringing in elements of atmospheric perspective.
Since 2015 I have painted a yearly icon of blind justice struggling to balance the scales of justice. After our midterm voting, that perennial icon became the peace dove transporting those scales.
My work is inspired by my surrounding garden and beaches. I use oil paint for its texture, gloss and durability, applied by pallet knife on large canvases. My studio is in Avalon where I have been for over 20 years.
My artwork reflects on ideas of our place in the world and our relationship to nature, land and land use. I am thinking of where we come from, and how it shapes who we are.
My work reflects my intuitive and creative process. I create beauty by balancing all elements in my paintings such as color, shape, line and movement. My digital work is a montage of my photography and paintings.
I am a Canadian seascape artist fascinated by marine life. My artwork aims to evoke a sense of calm and happiness through the colour palette I use, which varies between hues of teal and turquoise.
As an artist I paint in an impressionistic realism style, but I also love to do abstract pieces. I enjoy creating paintings from my photographs and various artificial intelligence (AI) inspirations.
I am an airbrush artist and enjoy using this medium as it gives my work a more ethereal quality and a softness. “Reflection” is a portrait of myself with my dog Maxy in a magical scene.
When I was in pain, art became my medicine. The beauty is that it led me to my distinct style of weaving words of encouragement into the subject’s hair to convey a feeling or story.
As an outdoor and travel photographer, discovering weathered and aged architecture with Nature’s terrain serving as a complimentary backdrop, is undoubtedly my most treasured subject matter.
I’m drawn to the subjects of nature and people, finding similarities between the two. Everything starts with the roots—the strength and foundation—as well as the beauty of both the person and the tree.
I travel the world absorbing sights, sounds, cultures and colors. My visual experience is expressed in my vibrant and energetic abstract paintings.
I like to say my medium is love. I’m honored to translate a pet’s spirit into a work of art that immortalizes them and also celebrates the love a person has for their pet.
